Secrets of the Mega Cruise Ship

MSC Cruises is set to appear on TV with a new 90 minute documentary on the MSC Seaside.  The documentary called ‘Secrets of the Mega Cruise Ship’ will be on our TV screens tonight 18th February.  This TV show is a fly on the wall style show which will give a rare glimpse of life below the deck and also behind the scenes access to show rehearsal and dining venues etc.  These TV shows on cruises is really good for the market.  The popular series The Cruise has been a great insight to life on board and also Jane McDonalds ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’ has also been a great insight to different cruises and destinations.  The MSC Divina actually has starred on Cruising with Jane McDonald on Channel 5 back in 2017.  This new 90 minute documentary will show what it is like for the MSC Seaside’s 1,500 crew members.

Antonio Paradiso, who is the Managing Director for MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, said: “It is an honour to have this great opportunity to show the British public another of our beautiful ships and all the onboard features we are famous for, whilst also offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at the goings on of one of the world’s most advanced cruise ships.  “There is no better way to demonstrate how fantastic cruising is than to physically show people, and this feature-length documentary provides a great opportunity to do just that.”

The MSC Seaside made her debut in December 2017 and from November 2019 will call at MSC’s new private island Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.  I have been lucky enough to experience an MSC ship and was on the launch of the MSC Poesia back in 2008 and also did a 7 night Mediterranean cruise on her in 2009.   I am also very excited that I am going on the launch of MSC Cruises next new ship the MSC Bellissima at the beginning of March.  The new MSC Bellissima will hold 4500 passengers and looks an amazing ship.  I am looking forward to spending a night on here and experiencing all of the facilities.

I will certainly be watching the new TV show this evening which is on 18th February 9pm on Channel 5.
