LISTEN UP …… This is Important ….

This week I wanted to talk about the journey we bring you onto after you have booked your most exciting Mini Cruise, Tailor Made Itinerary, 7 nights Med Cruise or even a Bucket List with us and the importance of the “What Happens Next” stage after your cruise …..

I understand after over 11 years in the industry things have changed and we have moved on now from the days of having our tickets in our hands in a wallet, checking in bags at the airport – yes you can just go to the bag drop desk now madam …. to even just turning up with only a reference number and your passport ….. So when we advise you of “What Happens Next?” This is why it is so important but what does this actually mean? …..

This part of your journey is just as important as the booking stage as I advise you of all the nitty gritty as we call it ….. I appreciate the excitement has kicked in even more now as it all becomes real that you are going away once you hear “I am pleased to say your booking is confirmed” however we always need you for just that little bit longer ….

• What we need from you or for you to complete

Cruise Lines require you to complete your passport information and will not release tickets on some occasions until this has been completed, if you have booked a tailor made bespoke package with us I will advise when you can expect to receive your vouchers.  Insurance information to ensure you have this at the time of booking or will be.

• How you will receive your booking confirmation

We send this across in an email format unless you have requested otherwise and this can go into your alternative mailboxes so please do not think this has not been sent across

• What will be displayed on your booking confirmation

Reference numbers through ourselves and the cruise line (this will be often provided over the phone also) terms and conditions, Invoice notes – These are tailored to your own special booking so these are so important that you check, look over and action anything that needs to be completed as soon as you receive this.

As you can see these last bits of information are so important to yourself and to me as your consultant to ensure you have everything you need. More often than not occasionally these can be missed especially if we are looking like we do in this industry 12 months plus ahead of travelling.
