Jonathan & Charlotte Concert

Surprisingly my husband is a huge fan of Jonathan and Charlotte who you may remember from Britain’s got talent, he has there album and listens to it constantly! Back in April the duo were performing onboard P&O’s Azura which would have been a fantastic way to see them perform but unfortunately we couldn’t make this trip as we were on a cruise only a few weeks later! So i decided to surprise my husband with tickets to see them at the Birmingham Symphony Hall, all I told him was to keep the night free as I was taking him out, he had no clue what was happening!

We set of to Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse at the Cube in Birmingham , we have visited the restaurant before earlier in the year but with such great food and of course the views across Birmingham I knew David would be impressed again! The food was stunning as per usual! And I must say compared to the Marco Pierre White restaurant I visited recently on the P&O’s Oceana the standards of the Cube restaurant and food standard are 100% better!

From here we walked alongside the canal through Brindley Place to the Symphony Hall, David still had no clue what we were going to see until we entered the building and he saw the posters and adverts inside for Jonathan and Charlotte, luckily of course he was extremely happy and impressed with my little treat!

The concert was superb and they really put on a great show, I’m sure the concert onboard the Azura would have been just fantastic but what a great idea, hopefully they may perform onboard a ship again and next time we would definitely like to experience the duo whilst taking in a cruise aswell!

But in the meantime I think its husbands turn to treat me to a surprise evening out, what do you think?
