Fancy a Marathon at your port of call?

Do you love competing in Marathons, sporting events, runs? Maybe it’s your partner, friend or sibling?

Well MSC cruises are offering there customers the chance to par take in the Tenerife Marathon in November 2014.

Passengers who are sailing onboard the beautiful MSC Magnifica, who will be sailing 0n a grand voyage from Hamburg to Buenos Airies departing on the 8th November 2014 for 20 days can sign up to take part in the event to be held in Santa Cruz Tenerife on the 16th November 2014.

Guests can choose to sign up for either the 8km option, Half Marathon or the Full Marathon. But the cut of date is October 25th!

I think this is a great opportunity for guests and sports enthusiast who are on this cruise and what a great achievement, rather than booking a Island Tour or heading off to the beach for the day, sign up to a Marathon! This is the very first Marthon to be held on this volcanic Canary Island.

My husband loves competing in Marathons, and raises money for Cancer Research so I have accompanied him to various events and it is always such a happy experience to cross the finish line and feel like you have really accomplished something and even better when you raise money for charity. Marathons arent personally for me so you would never find me signing up!

I also attended the MSC Magnifica launch in early 2010 and she really is a stunning ship! Beautiful restaurants, bar areas, cabins the list is endless!
