Holland America goes Digital

Nowadays it is not unheard of that everyone wants to stay connected on their cruise, More cruise lines are introducing user friendly Apps on board giving guests the chance to personalize their cruise at their Fingertips

Holland America have announced the introduction of the Navigator App to all ships in the fleet – Available to I phone and Android users, the App will allow cruisers to Plan Daily activities, Book Shore Excursions, Make Dining Reservations, book yourself a treatment at the spa, Browse the various menus from a variety of restaurants on board and even a chat function so that guests can communicate with each other for free on board at no extra cost.

The app will be available Fleet wide and over the coming months the cruise line will extend the functionality to allow you to access and personalize your cruise before you go, meaning you can plan your holiday from the comfort of your own home.

The great news is the App will sync your cruise plans and you will be able to access your itinerary in full at any time, aswell as sending you notifications and reminders – meaning you don’t have to carry the printed programme with you at all times.

Navigator has previously been available via a web browser on board, however you can now download the App prior to sailing, or if you forget can download once on board free of charge, without the use of an internet package

Whilst printed Daily programmes are still delivered to your stateroom every evening listing the activities and entertainment programme for the following day – The app is a great way in keeping up to date with real time information as it happens

What do you think of the latest announcement from Holland America? Will you be downloading the Navigator app for your next voyage?
