Glamping at sea

Gone are the days where you pitch up a tent in a field and make your own fun, these days we prefer all our home comforts and Celebrity Cruises have joined in with the latest craze – Glamping!

This time however its Glamping with a difference. Aboard the brand new Celebrity Flora – a first of its kind expedition ship, purpose-built to visit the Galapagos islands

Celebrity Flora will be a 100 Passenger ship debuting in May 2019 and will offer sailings year-round to the Galapagos Floor to ceiling windows in 100% of the Suites to bring the natural surroundings and light in. The ship will boast Yacht Like Marina at the back, so guests will arrive in style by zodiac raft

The Glamping experience will be something truly unique and each evening 4 Guests will be able to book this experience for one night only.

The experience will consist of rental of 2 private Cabanas for the evening complete with a double bed for sleeping under the stars and a separate cabana for enjoying a meal al fresco – the cuisine will be Campfire-inspired and specifically created for the evening.

Galápagos glamping gives an ‘incredible opportunity to experience the destination the ship was built for, on a whole new level, under the millions of stars above,’ said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises.
