Apres Ski In Chamonix!

I am super excited as I write this blog…..

In the next few days myself and my husband are leaving for our little adventure, heading to the French Alps (Mont Blanc Chamonix) for a pre-Christmas break. To say I am excited is an understatement as visiting the Alps at Christmas time has always been on one of my bucket list of places to visit.

I have been checking the weather forecast over the past few days and can see that the season has definitely begun in Chamonix as the snowfall has been falling over the past week or so. I honestly can not wait to see the white tops of the mountains along with the beautiful Christmas markets they we plan to visit in Annecy.

I must be honest, when I told my friends and family where I was heading to, they were shocked that we was not going to be sking, but if I am honest this has never really been the reason I planned to visit the Alps. I absolutely love the idea of, Xmas markets, ample food stalls, a cheeky little baileys hot chocolate, french cuisine, coupled with the gorgeous mountain views from our hotel room, what more could we wish for.

We plan to take a trip in the cable car up to the full height of 4,810 meters above sea level to the peak of the highest mountains in Europe.

Have you ever visited the Chamonix Valley, Mont Blanc or the Alps before? If so, did you Ski, snowboard or like me, just wonder around, taking in the ambiance of the Apres ski?

I would love to here your reviews of this famous mountain region here

I look forward to taking lots of pictures and posting them on my Facebook page so stay tuned…
