Oceania- Another Level

Today i was luckily to be invited to step onboard the Wonderful Oceania Marina.

As the sun was Shining, she looked fantastic against the wonderful City of Liverpool.

Over my years in travel I and especially over my past 4 years in Cruise. I have visited and sailed on various Cruise Lines. Some stand out as my favourites, whilst others are nice in their own rights but just not my style.

Oceania have just wowed the socks off me in a very understated way.

They say its, ‘ your world. your way’ as they want you you to experience the world they way you want. Not set dining times, no supplements for Speciality Dining and even free WIFI to stay in touch and show off to those you left at home.

Marina is one of the larger ships in their fleet. Carrying just over 1200 passengers, she oozes quality out of every corner. In such an intimate but unobtrusive way.

There is so much to do whilst on board they have just thought of almost everything possible.

We saw an Art room where guests can enjoy learning and practising their art skills and if your have more Culinary skills, they can offer you a Cookery School where the Chef takes you off the ship to source your ingredients to then cook in a way they do on board.

I was impressed by the choice of Dining options on board. Oceania want you to sample the high life and that means the Speciality restaurants are included in your cruise experience. ( Apart from a couple of venue’s).

Here is a few Pictures from today, Firstly the elegant Staircase in all its glory.

The funky Casino bar next with the Stool in the next pic being a staggering $10,000 per stool!!!

Lastly the award Winning Red Ginger Speciality Restaurant. Seems to be everyone’s favourite choice.

So, if you are thinking of trying something a bit different to your usual cruise line and you havent already experienced Oceania. My advice would be to go for it. Its a wonderful line with many special features. Nothing too formal and over exaggerated.

It will be a line that i look forward to traveling on in the coming years. Utter Class!
