Ipswich Xmas River Cruise

I was invited by my old work colleagues for a “works Xmas day out”. So on Sunday we all met up for a quick drink on the Quayside and joined Lady Orwell for a fabulous Afternoon river cruise.

Although it was only for 4 hours I must say spending time on-board this small but pleasant ship was a joy. I have never been on this river cruise and I have been living in Ipswich now for the last 25 years.

Although it was cold and drizzling the company made my day. It is such a small ship but did have a bar on-board to make it that more pleasurable. Would I go on this ship again? Yes but only in the summer with the family and friends for an afternoon out. Nothing like the real “River Cruise” experience which I am yet to discover!
