Christmas is almost here!

With only 15 days to go until Christmas are we all ready? Today the general public learn’t of some bad news based on P&O’s Arcadia being cancelled on the 15th of December. My thought’s go out to those customer’s who have had there Christmas Market cruise cancelled.

However Christmas is an ideal time to escape, having time off from work and not having the worry or hassle of cooking at Christmas. Although I do enjoy cooking Christmas dinner for the family and spending time with them. But I must admit I would love to spend Christmas on a cruise with my partner spending that magically time of year together. Christmas is a time to be happy and enjoy yourself.

But with younger families this could be a very expensive time to travel on a cruise holiday over the Christmas period. Although there are some cracking deals to be had out there I feel that unless your booking in advance it would become difficult with the expense of a cruise holiday for the whole family. Are there many families out there that cruise over Christmas and the New Year? And also the family cabins must get snapped up rather sharpish leaving less choice of cabin types. Is Christmas cruising ideal for families?

My motto… “If you have the time and money, why not”. Treat yourself, it’s only once a year!
