Brunei gets condemnded for new Homosexuality Laws

The Dorchester Collection hotel chain is openly owned by the Sultan of Brunei, who is also the Architect behind this change in this new law.

The new Law has changed from 10 years in prison to “death by stoning” which in my eyes is such a barbaric biblical way in which to punish someone. People should be able to live their life and be happy for the choices they make and not be punished in such a horrific way.

There are some countries out there that need to realise that we are living in the 21st century and need to be brought to justice in one form or another. Many companies (like Virgin) and many celebrities who have boycotted this hotel chain have started a chain reaction and I am pleased to say I follow this suit.

Although I know this is such a terrible act in justice, the thought of being in prison for 10 years for living a life of who you are is bad enough. I know here in the UK and many other countries living a homosexual lifestyle is the norm, and people see no differently. So why can’t certain countries who believe in their faith so strongly allow homosexuals to live their life their way, even if it’s in the dark!
