Naked on a ship-its true

So let me tell a story,

Are you sitting comfortably, then lets begin

I had sent a customer on an amazing month long voyage on a fabulous Princess ship. She was wishing the days away to get on board and would be spending Christmas on the ship as well, she was all packed and ready for the off, she rings me and says Carol have I got everything I need, (she always does)  Pauline don’t worry you have all you could possibly need just go and have a fabulous time. They had a few little hiccups along the way, she managed to lose her make up bag for a while and she says OMG my husband hasn’t seen me without make up for 45 years he wont know me, we laughed about this after she got home, make up renewed.

She is a lovely glamorous lady always dressed nice with hair and make up just perfect so I could see why she was worried but nothing could have prepared me for what she said next.

The ship had naked people on it

WHAT!!!  well I wasn’t expecting that.

Seriously, how or more to the point why.

Well it seems she was having a little stroll around the ship and decided to go to the spa and the baths, she went in and was looking around when she noticed signs up saying please be aware that the people using these baths may be naked, of course she had to re read it but it was true, the ship was staying out doing the japan itineraries and as we all know “well most of us” the Japanese people wear little or no clothes in the sauna and spa baths.

So the motto of the story is take your loin cloth to preserve your modesty, or pass it to them to cover theirs, but it was an exception rather than a rule as it was a brand new itinerary over in Japan.

The maiden one in fact

For me from the way she described it I have to say it was the funniest thing I had ever heard and we laughed until we cried. who said cruising might be boring

Now what was that ship again so I can look at prices. Quick get booking
