It has been a very trying week!!

Everyone knows when your laptop breaks it is really inconvenient but when it is your work laptop that breaks then it is almost like your arm has been chopped off, I was climbing the walls as I could not get on it at all, it is not easy trying to price cruises on a kindle and for all those of you in the past that have said to me I only have a kindle, I now feel your pain.

While I have been patiently waiting for my new one to arrive I did something that I don’t normally do and that is watch TV, it’s just something I very rarely do but my daughter had some things recorded on there so I thought well why not.

One of the programmes i watched was cruising with Jane Mcdonald, I had caught an odd episode in the past but never really sat through many.
I really enjoyed them, I loved the Cuba one, what an amazing place, the cars the colours the people, all happy and friendly and a place I would like to visit for sure. I loved the pink cadillac, the music is very catchy as well as everyone loves a catchy salsa

I loved the Jamaica stop as well, I have never heard of anyone eating on a raft in the middle of the sea before, the colour of that sea as well it would certainly be different, the sea, the smells, the Jamaican accent, the rum punch and it all sounded just perfect.

She has certainly done a lot for the cruising market lately has Jane, there has been more interest in river cruising especially which is great as if you have never done one before you won’t know just how relaxing they can be, plus no waves.
The Mekong cruise I have to say looked amazing and one of my team has just come back from one as well, he said the same.
Might draw the line at eating the deep fried crickets though

There are also a few new things happening in our company and one of them is the £1 deposit and this is great if you are just between paydays and want to book, you do need to get a direct debit set up with us though to be able to do it.

We also have a brand new extensions tours guide which can be added on to lots of different cruises out of Hong Kong either before or after the cruise, there are private and group tours and they are exclusive to us at Cruise.co.uk, always a good idea if this type of cruise is one you may only do once as you will get the most from it then.

There are quite a few options in this new brochure so it is a good time to sit with a glass of wine (or cuppa)  and relax as you have a look through it. Loads of options to choose.

Tonight though I will be sat watching the European cup semi final first leg between Liverpool and Roma and it is bucketing down here in Liverpool. I used to love the European nights at Anfield as the atmosphere is always electric.

I have the Samsung health app on my phone and nothing much changes on it and i thought it didn’t work until I watched the Liverpool versus Manchester city game in the quarter finals, I checked my stress levels as it was edge of the seat stuff and was amazed to see it was really high so hopefully tonight won’t be that bad as my heart won’t take it.

Its great on a cruise though as you clock up how many steps you take throughout the day, I think we got to 17,000 one day just walking around doing everyday things on board, it was the Independence so she is a big ship but if you want one of those fabulous cakes on board then get walking
