Better inside ?

After doing my research i have come up with the top 6 most important reasons why booking an inside cabin could be a great idea.!

Price, unless there is only a few inside cabins left , 9 times out of 10 these will be the cheapest cabins on the ship.From Norwegian Cruise Lines cosy and funky Studios,constructed and priced especially for singles,to Costa Cruise Line  pioneering Spa inside cabins ,situated around the Samsara Spa, with orchids a plenty. Book an inside or an ever cheaper guaranteed cabin and always get the lowest price, you may not get some of the extras but you get the same food, the same pool, the same wait for the Surfrider and the same seats in the theatre

On the larger ships, it means you dont spend as much time in your cabin so you are spending much more time on deck,in the  fabulous lounges or the pool and using all the onboard facilities or even the gym or having a spa treatment, inside cabins can be good for you.

There is nothing better for you than a good nights sleep, according to NHS.gov, studies have shown that a full 7.5 hours of quality sleep  can control your blood sugar,help your mood,and have a healthy heart.If like me you have trouble sleeping with any light coming into the room choose an inside, but dont oversleep there too much to enjoy.One of the most comfortable sleep is on Oceania with their Italian Prestige  Tranquility mattress made with 7 sleep zones.Dont forget your chamomile pillows either.

5. Can i have an balcony cabin and an inside together with another balcony ? Of course you can, there are now Super Family cabins on the MSC Bellissima and Meraviglia, these are 2 balcony cabins and one inside all connected to take up to 10 people situated aft .

6.You cant be downgraded free from an inside cabin but by us ticking the right box, you could be upgraded for free.Ask at the time of booking if you could be eligible (depending on cruise line) but you never know.

So lots of benefits but when can an inside cabin not be an inside ?, when its got a virtual balcony,first pioneered by Royal Caribbean with its 82 inch floor to ceiling screen behind the curtains, which stream views and even sounds of the sea.All inside cabins on the newest ships (Quantum class) feature these virtual balconies.Bring your own fan if you want a breeze.Also pioneered were the Promenade inside view cabins overlooking the center of the ship and also ones overlooking the Central Park area.
