Roller Coaster at Sea ! Where will it all end?

People often joke about what the next thing on the newest cruise ship will be an I have often come across the What will be next  a roller coaster at sea !! Well as i was scrolling through my facebook the other night i can across a headline post of Carnival Mard Gras to feature Rollercoaster as sea, i initially thought it might have been a simulator in one of the bars or perhaps an April fool but the Christmas tree in my living room reminded me we were mid December so was this in fact true?

Well yes it is, it has actually happened there is going to be a roller coaster on a ship, in fact all around the ship and it will go up to 40 miles an hour!!!!!

You may not have yet head of the Mardi Gras as the name has only just been released by carnival about their latest addition which is due to launched in 2020 and based out of Port Canaveral, Carnival is all about Fun so if you were going to put a roller coaster on any cruise line this had to be the one and is certainly keeping them in the running with the Likes of RCCL and their innovative additions

The roller coaster is nearly 800 feet of twist and turns and drops (thankfully no loop the loop I expect that will be on their next ship!! It will take 2 riders in a motorcycle like a vehicle along the track which is 187 feet above the sea

Carnival Commented

“Mardi Gras will be our most innovative ship ever with some truly special features and attractions, highlighted by BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “BOLT will continue the tradition of Carnival providing exciting new ways for our guests to ‘Choose Fun.’ We are so thrilled to introduce this one-of-a-kind, game-changing, exhilarating attraction – our guests are going to love it!”

So what do you make of the latest addition and where will it all end? im sure some will love and some will hate and vow never to step foot on a Carnival ship but then that’s the great thing about cruising there is a ship out there to suit all tastes.
