Good bye 2018

So 2018 has been a whirlwind but then again we all seem to say that every year! and on to 2019 the one thing I do like about the new year as its a time like most  of you I start to think about where I will be traveling to next (well slight lie I don’t start to think about it at the beginning of the year I think about it constantly, hazard of the job I guess.

Travel wise 2018 was kind to me

For the first time, I got to experience Asia on what has to be one of the most amazing trips. Arriving into Singapore first and then hopping over to Vietnam and then onto Cambodia to join a River Cruise on the Mekong. Singapore now has to be one of my favorite places and hope to go back again soon. Vietnam and Cambodia were like nothing I had experienced before but only got a tater as there are so many places to visit.

Next for me was a Short cruise with Azamara around them med beautiful early spring weather and an amazing ship. Definalty looking forward to a special occasion so i can have the excuse to take another trip with them

This was followed by my family Holiday onboard the crown princess in the med not particularly for the itinerary but I do love to go away my daughter loves cruising to so we spend most of the time around the pool making the most of the facilities and generally just spending time together. She did rather enjoy seeing the monkeys in Gibraltar as well though.

Then in Nov I was extremely lucky to take my first European river cruise and I did it in style too with Crystal WOW just WOW what an amazing ship food entertainment and scenery, i was nervous about a European river curse a little worried I would get bored on an evening but I have to say it surpassed all my expectations

Then just before e Christmas, I went on my first Cruise and Maritime ship over to Dublin, More about that next time.

So all in all a good travel year here’s hoping to more adventures in 2019,

Wishing you a Happy Christmas and New Year!
