Looking forward to the new kid on the block!!

So this week saw Carnival throw down the family friendly gauntlet with the release of a video about their new ship, the Carnival Vista. I posted about this on Facebook and it got a lot of attention, and rightly so.

The ship features some fantastic new firsts at sea. The first feature that caught the eye, was Skyride.

What on earth is that I hear you ask!! This is a pedal along ride that takes you around the edge of the ship 800ft above water, and there are 2 tracks, so get into competitive mode, the race is on!!

For you other thrill seekers, they also have a high ropes course to get the pulse racing call SkyCourse. I have been lucky enough to do a few of these when on holiday, and they are definitely a good giggle (as well as making the palms sweat.)

Whilst we are out on top deck we can’t not mention Carnival’s largest Waterworks that will be on board, featuring a 455ft long slide that can be used individually or as a duo.

For those that are a little less adventure seeker and more interested in chilling out and watching the latest blockbuster movies, well, the Vista will feature the first IMAX cinema at sea, and with the screen 3 deck tall, you certainly won’t miss any of the action.

I have watched the video 3 times now, and think this is the first ship to get me excited since the revelation of the Quantum Class ships. I think you will agree, the balconies, featuring a hammock, look incredible.

For those beer lovers, they will even be brewing their own beer at sea (this really is a ship built for me)

She will start sailing in May 2016 and I for 1 can’t wait to get booked.
