How do you spend yours?

Now we all love a bit of on board credit to help sweeten a cruise deal, but from past experience, we tend to just assume this will be spent behind the bar and not used to experience the huge variety of offerings on board.

Speciality Dining.

I love speciality dining whilst on board, mainly because it is a lot cheaper than if I was to visit a restaurant of those standards on terra firma and with so many new ships really upping the ante when it comes to the amount of speciality options available, this is surely a great way to invest you free money.

Spa.

A firm favourite of my good lady, and what better way to get yourself a couple of hours to maybe catch up on the football or get your head into your book than sending the lady to get pampered, at no cost to your own pocket. Or if like a good few of us, you want to get involved and get yourself some treatments together, a great way to enjoy that credit.

Excursions

Possibly the one thing we all get on and check first and really start planning our experiences whilst we are cruising. Exploring new places and making new memories is such a huge part of the cruise world and a great way to spend that free money, by treating yourself to that 1 trip your are itching to do, but unsure if the purse strings will stretch?

What I’m trying to get at is we all see on board credit as a little bit boring, but there is so much you can spend it on (including shopping, but I’m not going into that 1!!) that will enhance your experience on board and in the destinations you will visit that we should get excited with some of the amounts on offer. I think the biggest I have seen is NCL offering upto $1000 per stateroom!!
