Happy 2019!!

Well, today feels weird! My 1st proper day back, having enjoyed 1 day of work in the last 2 weeks, I have soooo much to catch up on it is unbelievable. It goes without saying, but I wish you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year and have lots planned for 2019 and onwards. I have the small matter of marrying my long-serving better half in August this year, so I’ve got plenty to keep me busy.

We had a very enjoyable Christmas staying at one of my better half’s brothers on Christmas night and eating until near explosion. A billion games of Uno followed with countless arguments about the rules and lots of googling for clarity! Lots of giggles and belly laughs guaranteed. We started a new tradition this year of all going out for a big family meal in the days between Christmas and New Year, which was lovely, and a designated driver the liver was pleased for a night off!!

New Year was a blast, spending the evening at her other brother’s house this time around, we were having such a good time we even cancelled our taxi we had booked and spent the night on an inflatable mattress, hopefully, the rest of 2019 will include better nights sleep. This time the games were a little more party orientated with the beer pong making an appearance as well as some ridiculous masks that we could not get enough of!
