You won’t get me on a cruise at Christmas

My family wouldn’t let me, we have always agreed we will be together at Christmas well unless I could get everyone on a cruise and that would be fantastic.
Ever wondered what it’s like to be on a cruise at Christmas though ?

Christmas tree

A Christmas Day filled with festive cheer but without the stresses of cooking, cleaning or car travel. Whose house are you going to and who is buying the turkey ?
Well the joy of spending Christmas aboard a cruise ship is everything from dinner to decorations and a visit from Santa are part of the stress-free package.
No need to mess around with a giant turkey dinner; No Queens speech to sit through;No distant relatives to put up with (unless you’ve brought them along!)

People who do go cruising at Christmas say it really is a magical time.

Here is a little of what can you expect to see on a Cruise ship at Christmas ;

Santa makes a appearance in the Grand Lobby on Cunard ships on Christmas day.

Princess ships are full of decorations and trees , they have their waiters wearing santa hats as they serve a traditional christmas dinner as well as carollers are strolling the decks’s.
The children are also well entertained with lots of activities planned including making christmas crafts to help decorate the tree on board. They also rehearse a play which they will perform later for people to watch.

Disney Cruises well they go that one step further for making it magical ,Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay, is transformed into a winter wonderland with “snow” flurries and a Christmas tree. Plus, the island’s tram is decorated to resemble a reindeer, complete with antlers and a tail. You are probably thinking one of the reasons we get away at Christmas is to not see the snow but it is for 1 day only !
