Another year gone by ….

I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and got everything off your list and most importantly spent time with your loved ones. Well even though December is supposed to be the quietest month and I was supposed to not work that much that didn’t actually happen, with new computer systems on the Horizon the issues at Gatwick airport and also our Company conference.

Our conference on the Marco Polo was a great few days although crossing the Irish Sea this time was not as smooth as when we went from Liverpool 2 years ago. Unfortunately seasickness took a lot of my colleagues on our Fancy dress night and again on our last night. Although we had a great night on dry land in Dublin. The Conference itself was great and was lucky enough to have a lot of the cruise companies onboard with us along with our colleagues from head office.

Like the last 3 years, we are getting away from it all for the new year. We are going back to the lovely cottage in the lakes where we stayed last year again with our best friends and plan to do loads of walking ( hopefully with a bit of snow ) play games and watch films.

I will hopefully have some well earned rest and be able to switch off ( no wifi signal )and recharge my batteries ready for the January madness.Unlike a lot of people who dread going back to work and suffer from the January blues I LOVE IT !!
I normally love this time of year to look back over everything I have done over the year and all the memories made, places visited, this year has not been the greatest for my family so I will actually be glad to see the back of it and look forward to 2019.
Then its all about planning for the new year.From January the 4th I will be back at my desk ready to plan all your wonderful cruises for you.
