I had the pleasure of spending a afternoon on board the Regent Seven Seas Voyager last week while she was in port in Liverpool and what a beauty she was. I have been on many cruise ships but a 6* was a first for me and this ship was definitely not snooty but certainly was stylish.
The Voyager holds a maximum of 700 passengers and has over 400 staff which is an amazing staff-to-guest ratio of 1.5 and is the reason they can deliver such personal service.
You would automatically presume that only holding 700 passengers that it would be a small ship with few facilities but you couldn’t be more wrong there is loads of space and amenities.
Onboard we found four gourmet restaurants which included a steakhouse (there was a 32oz steak on the menu ), an Italian restaurant a French restaurant plus a classic Continental where I ate called the Compass Rose there was also casual indoor and outdoor dining and the al fresco Pool Grill , Casino ,world famous canyon ranch spa , sport facilities an outstanding 2 tier theatre, Shops and Internet room .
