Have you missed the Boat………….

Well the weather this year has definately been a talking point for us all and not for the right reasons. At this time of year you expect to be exchanging stories about ‘what a lovely time you had at the weekend in the garden’ or ‘what a great time you had at the family BBQ in the sunshine’ or ‘haven’t seen the kids all day they’ve been playing outside all day’ but  I’m sure that these stories have been few and far between this year. Because of this it has become more apparent than normal that everyone is looking for a last minute deal to escape this awful weather.

Over the last few days I have spoken to people who are looking to get away in the next couple of weeks or so but I’m afraid these last minute bargains are not as easy to come by this year. Limited availability on the cruise’s and the high price for flights is making it impossible for people to get the bargain they are looking for. Families looking for 3 and 4 berth cabins are being left disappointed too because these are not available at the last minute either.

So if you’ve been left disappointed this year dont leave it till the last minute to  book for next year. There is no better time to book than now especially if you are looking for a 3 or 4 berth cabin. P&O and Cunard introduced there new Vantage fares on 23rd July with a price promise so if you do book early ,and the price of the cruise drops then you will be reimbursed with onboard spending money to the value of the price drop. You will have a pick of the cabins that you want and and a choice of either onboard spending money, free parking or coach transfers and only a deposit of 10% if you book by 31st August. So what are you all waiting for, book early and don’t be left hung out to dry!
