When you’re sat at home and you’ve decided that the time has come to book your annual holiday of course the first thing you do is pick up the phone and dial cruise.co.uk. Well that’s what we hope anyway. We are the specialists so if anyone’s going to get you your dream cruise at the best price possible then it’s going to be me or one of my lovely colleagues. But you may have noticed that when you call us you actually are speaking to real life human beings ……….. Shock horror. We are not an automated robot asking you to press option one, we are not based on the other end of the world where communication problems occur and we most defiantly are not order takers. At Cruise we want to know what it is exactly that makes your cruise a holiday to remember. We want to know what you love about cruising, what sort of ships have you been on, where do you like to visit, what’s your style on-board formal , relaxed – basically everything that we can so we can then get the perfect match for your requirements.
It’s one of the main things that I love about my job I get to actually chat to people about their holiday and what they have experienced before. I’m not sat in an office selling paper clips but actually organising once in a lifetime trips for people that they will never forget.
I know that what we offer at cruise may not be everybody’s cup of tea and the last thing they want to do is to talk and give out details, and for those people then that’s fair enough and we have the website on hand if your more a kind of ‘want the price’ and nothing more person. I find a majority of people are fine with answering a few questions and more often than not this leads to a really good rapport that builds to customers coming back and booking with me on a regular basis. The main reason we ask these questions is to benefit you as the customer so we get the essentials right. After all, what one person’s dream holiday could be maybe another’s worst nightmare? Some of us love Ncl with the informality and the relaxed atmosphere and others prefer Cunard with tradition and elegance and formality being the preference. There are so many cruise lines out there offering something different and we want to make sure you pick the right one.
Whatever your choice feel free to chat to us about it all and don’t worry were not being nosy parkers were not interested in what colour socks you’ve got in , we just want to get it perfect so you will come back to us time and time again.
