My Time To Relax!

If you are sitting at home or at work reading this then I will be probably sitting by a lovely pool and relaxing! Yes, it is my turn for a bit of a break and this year, instead of a cruise Mr M & I are off to Crete.  I have already been away on the fantastic Seabourn cruise in May and as Mr M does not want to do a cruise every year (because he was in the Navy) this year it is our land based holiday.

I love Greece, having stayed on many island as well as the mainland throughout the years. Crete is a lovely island and being the biggest island has loads of places to see. On a personal note my Grandad’s brother was captured in the battle of Crete in WW2, I would like to see where if I can. (it ended up on a happy note as he did come home).

We plan to go to the Island of Spinalonga which was home to the Lepers for many a year, a reflective place but lovely too.  We are also going to take a trip to Santorini which has to be one of the most amazing islands especially when you arrive by sea.  Other then that you will find me by the pool or the bar in that order.
