Independence of the Seas- My first time

Tomorrow I board the Independence of the Seas, I have done a Royal Caribbean cruise before but this will be my first on Indy.

After undertaking the Royal Amplified program, Royal’s refurbishment scheme the reviews that were already great have got even better and i am so looking forward to it. With it being 3 nights it doesn’t leave much time to experience it all but I will do my best, particularly at the bars with my All Inclusive room card!!!

I am taking my 18 year old and 16 year old daughters, they have never cruised before and are ‘buzzing’ for it, apparently me ‘dabbing’ from the sun deck as Indy departs Southampton will not be cool.

So what is new?

Well there is the Sky pad, a bungee trampoline, no thanks..

Fish and Ships, Soundsgood.

Playmakers Sports Bar and arcade, yep, we will give that a go.

Laser tag, these games are always fun.

Escape Room, this is great fun, i did one in Shepherds Bush last year for my birthday and I highly recommend it.

Sugar Beach, this is a defo, Every Candy under the sun apparently, I will check it out.

Splashway Bay, Please be kind Mr Sun, i want to try this out.

FlowRider, again a must do but maybe on a longer cruise.

I will be taking plenty of photos and posting them to my facebook page so please come and check it out, click here to join.

So, Tux is ironed, swimming trunks, packed, shirts, shorts, passport, pants, socks and shoes and my suncream, Oh I do hope I get to use the suncream.

Off to Rotterdam for the first time and Bruges for the umpteenth time, I am on firth name terms with the chocolate shop owner.

Roll on tomorrow.
