Gardeners World

Here at Cruise.co.uk we have a great team of people who work behind the scenes, putting together the fantastic tailor made itineraries we feature on our website.  I love them all but one in particular has caught my eye, the tour to China, run in conjunction with Gardeners World.

As you all love cruising and I guess most of you will love your own garden, I think this is a great way to combine both.  Basically this tour is a combination of river cruising and guided touring, way beyond the usual tourist trails.  Departing on 18th March 2015 to Beijing and spend 3 nights there with excursions included such as Tiananmen Square, the forbidden city, Beijing botanical gardens, the great wall to name but a few.

After all this sightseeing, settle down for a relaxing 4 night Yangtze river cruise. One of the highlights I like is you visit a local family and tour their garden – very different! You will also see such sights as the spectacular three lesser gorges, tour Fengdu the ghost city and see many temples on Ming Mountain.

Once you disembark the cruise the fun doesn’t stop there. How about seeing the giant pandas?!  Afterwards head on a flight to Xian  for a 2 night stay and visit such fabulous places as the Chongquing zoological gardens and also see the terracotta warriors?

On the morning of 28th March, catch a flight to your last destination, Shanghai and Suzhou.  Suzhou is called the canal and garden city of China and home to the biggest and most famous garden of the area.  If that is not enough you will also visit a private garden built in the Ming dynasty, seldom visited by tourists.  Of course, Shanghai is a fabulous and diverse city to visit. Here you see the Yu Gardens and cruise along the Huangpu river before your farewell dinner, then homeward bound the next day.

A wonderful tour with a great combination of cruising, gardens and visiting the most spectacular places in the world.

If you would like any more information just call or email me, I look forward to hearing from you.
