National Cruise week – 21st September – 29th September 2013
So from the 21st September until the 29th September 2013 sees the 6th National Cruise Week take place in the UK. Over this week the Cruise Lines offer some fantastic promotions for people looking to book their cruise.
It focuses on the reasons why a cruise holiday is such a fantastic holiday and why those who haven’t cruised before should try it.
Some of the great reasons I can think of is:
- Visiting many destinations you might not get the chance to
experience, when you open the curtains in the morning and being in a different port Experiencing a new adventure every day
- Amazing food – Whether its in the main dining room, 24 hour buffet
or in a specialty restaurant you will sample some delicious dishes as well as being a great opportunity to try something you haven’t had before.
- Entertainment on board: Some people enjoy joining in the main day time activities such as quizzes, shuffle board competitions, poolside games etc or playing in card
competitions. for some they prefer quieter days at sea and make use of the extensive libraries on board. Some like listening to the guest speakers, port talks and you always guarantee the Theatre will be standing room only for the nightly show.
During this week many of the Cruise lines will have lots of special offers for any bookings made this week, some examples are as follows:
Royal Caribbean: On 2014 sailings on Adventure of the Seas or Independence of the Seas departing in May or June then you will receive up to $200 per cabin and on sailings after July receive $100 per cabin as well as the free soda package for children and the 5 bottles per stateroom for the adults.
Fred Olsen: Free case of Wine on bookings made this week
Princess Cruises: offering On Board Credit + Free Car parking or Free coach transfers on selected sailings from the UK
Regent Cruises: Every booking made within Cruise Week will receive a set of Aspinal of London luggage tags worth £75 and will also receive free internet access on board
Oceania Cruises: are offering an extra $200 per stateroom in addition to any already offered.
Shearings River Cruises: Discounted Rates on selections of sailings
