Walk like an Egyptian…

Just what the doctor ordered, 2 weeks in sunny Egypt! My Husband and I decided we could do with a pick me up, after a busy January and February here in the Cruise.co.uk office and a relaxing break is what we need so we decided to book a last minute break away, 2 weeks in Sharm el Sheikh Egypt. I don’t think I’ve ever in my life booked a holiday so last minute, and I was quite shocked that booking last minute didn’t really benefit us price wise. The costs hadn’t dropped much at all. Just like the cruise industry last minute holiday ‘bargains’ seem to have disappeared and vary rarely make an appearance these days! I am definitely going to avoid booking last minute again where possible I just find it really isn’t worth it. I would rather pick the hotel or cruise that I want and have time to look forward to my well-deserved break! I have to admit its quite exciting and gives me a little buzz booking a week before we are due to fly!

We have picked what looks to be a great hotel, the Tropicana Sea Beach Splash Resort, as you can guess from the name there is even has an onsite waterpark where we may be able to re live our youth!

We have a friend currently living out in Sharm El Sheikh as a Rep , she messaged me only yesterday to say the weather is glorious which is just what I want to hear! And of course it will be great to meet up with her for a few cocktails!

I will be out of the office from Sunday the 11th March and will return to the office on Tuesday 27th March 2012.
