Will Britannia Rule the Seas?

britania

The next couple of months is an exciting time for both RCCL and P&O with the launch of the Anthem of the Seas and the Britannia.  I have to say I am really looking forward to the Britannia.  It’s not long now, in fact just over a week until I get the chance to spend a day and night on what I think will be a truly magnificent ship. The ship that has been inspired by P&O’s past and designed for the future.  Here are a few facts about the Britannia.

* Holds 3600 passengers

* 1400 crew

* 4 swimming pools

* 13 bars, 13 restaurants and cafes

* 15 passenger decks

* £1m art collection on board

* The Britannia will embrace a bold new 94 metre Union Flag on her bow displaying the longest version of the Flag anywhere in the world.

It seems my day and night on board is going to be a busy one, taking lots of photos and making note on as much as I can. Of course I will write a blog about my experience as soon as I am back.

The big question is who is going to be the Godmother?
