P&O to build a ‘superliner’ cruise ship

P&O are planning on building a £500 million cruise ship, which will be the biggest purpose built ship for the British Market.  They are planning on launching this new ‘superliner’ in 2015.

The ship will be 141,000 tonne the largest in the P&O fleet.  It will be constructed by the Italian company ‘Fincantieri’ who are the same company who built the Queen Victoria and the Queen Elizabeth.

As yet the ship is unnamed, it would be great to hear what you think she should be called, and also what your feelings are on these new big ‘superliners’.  There are lots of deals at the moment for this summer due to cabins not yet sold to add another large ship into the market i feel will only add more pressure and strain on an ever increasing saturated market.
