Pampered for the day…..

One thing I did not think appealed to me was spending the day in the spa, whenever I have cruised I have never taken advantage of these facilities.

To celebrate my friends 40th birthday I begrudgingly agreed to have a pampering day at Cotswold Water Park. All packed up and ready to go I was unsure what to expect. We arrived at this beautiful hotel and instantly felt relaxed and a little excited.

We all decided to go straight to the pool area, all turning up in our white fluffy robes and slippers. Just image 10 ladies robed up and ready to go. We took full advantage of the facilities enjoying the sauna and steam room and relaxing round the pool, catching up with dear friends.
We spent a lovely evening in the restaurant finishing our night at the Hear FMs Christmas party! Whoops 10 ladies found their way in uninvited and unnoticed. I suppose the official word is gate crashing!

A few hangovers arrived at the breakfast table all very much in need of the treatments that were about to follow. Unfamiliar with these treatments I decided to keep it simple and have a facial. What an experience!! I can’t believe I have cruised so many times and never sampled the spa areas and facilities. It was a real treat and to think this can also be sampled while on a cruise is a dream come true. So for all you non believers bite the bullet, robe up and enjoy.
