Free Drinks Time Again! Bargain or not?

It’s that time of year yet again…

Lots and lots of special offers on just about every cruise you can imagine.

The best deals seem to be through Royal Caribbean at this time with choices of free drinks packages, included gratuities, onboard spending money and more…

When these offers get released they bring a flood of people looking for bargain cruise holidays…     and often they do get something to really shout about, but beware. There are cruise offers galore, no shortage here but always evaluate that bargain and check it’s really as good as you think it is.

Free drinks packages are all the rage these days, but consider this…    if you’re really not a drinker, then is it worth it? The answer is probably not.

Remember, cruise lines are not charitable organisations and they look to make money. So, if the deal looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

As I tell my customers, there is a price below which you simply cannot get a cruise holiday no matter how hard you try. Yet, some people think that certainly can’t be true.

This week alone I have quoted cruises which work out at less than £60 per person per day…     based on around three weeks duration…    and that includes travel from place to place, accommodation with ensuite facilities, meals and entertainment. You cannot get an equivalent land based holiday at that sort of price.

Tell people this and some grasp the point immediately…     others simply don’t get it and expect more!!!

The key to this is look at what represents value for money and take the advice of a cruise expert rather than doing the leg work yourself. You’ll be happy at the results.
