Rock That Ship!

It’s been announced today that amongst others, the fantastic Foo Fighters will be performing on the NCL Breakaway next year.

I am a huge fan of live music (especially of the ‘rock’ kind) and cruising so this is right up my street!

Most of my family members are musicians in bands and my brothers band are currently working away (over Christmas and New Year – boo-hoo) on ship performing.

For the duration of the cruise, the ship will be unofficially renamed the Bud Light Hotel New York, which will be docked at Pier 88 in Manhattan on the Hudson River.

This is all due to take place ahead of the Super Bowl in February next year.  The Foos will headline the main event on 1st Februrary, where Zac Brown Band will also perform.

Country singer Jake Owen and Fall Out Boy will also play a concert before the Super Bowl.

It’s a fab little 2 night cruise which is perfect to team with a bit of post Christmas shopping in New York!  Think of the sales!!!  I’m off to try and convince the husband…..
