Freerunning with Thomson

A few months ago two of the Thomson ships underwent Platinum makeovers.  Thomson Celebration and Dream were the two lucky ladies to be treated to a new contemporary look and feel plus some exclusive extras!

All of the cabins have now had refurbs and you can expect to find clean-cut, contemporary designs, tea and coffee making facilities and flatscreen TV’s.  The Suites now even come with I-pod docking stations!

The bars and lounges have also all been revamped and now feature rich colours, touchable textiles and mood lighting to set the scene.

All sounds lovely, right?

But that’s not the reason for my post.  The reason is below.  The video recorded to promote these updates and refurbs on these two ships.

I’ve seen Parkour and Freerunning videos before and have a friend who is a Freerunner so this kind of thing always amazes me.  Being scared (ok…..petrified) of heights myself, I do tend to hold my breath for the duration of the video but it’s worth it!

The video was performed by the world renowned Parkour Team, 3RUN.  They’re known for their performances in Casino Royale and Harry Potter!
