The Costa Concordia is to be re-floated and
towed by June next year. After that tragic event nearly a year ago, the
Concordia is to be taken to an undisclosed port.
. I’ve read that the safes have all been removed and people will get back their personal possessions. I don’t think they’ll find the heart of the ocean when doing their inventory but the Euro notes being under water for a nearly 18 months might still be useable. I think they’ve done a wonderful job so far in repairing the ship to be re-floated and towed, and is such a shame they couldn’t so the same for the Titanic. Maybe they’ll make a movie about this too. Or at least a full length documentary on just the salvation operation would be quite interesting.
Let’s not forget those 32 soles who lost their lives in this tragic event, and I will also be keeping an eye on the trial of the former Captain Francesco Schettino.
