Why Cruising From The UK Is So Popular

Many of my customers prefer to cruise from the UK rather than do a fly cruise.  After all, who likes the hassle of possible flight delays and cancellations before your holiday?  I certainly do not.

I embarked on my first cruise from the UK last year.  Before this I had only ever been on fly cruises and after sailing out of the UK I can now see why people prefer this option.  It really is stress and hassle free.

Here are some of the reasons why cruising out of the UK is overtaking fly cruises in popularity.  After reading this I think you will now want this option!

Convenience For You

Just imagine you only have a short drive and you are then boarding the ship to sail to new horizons.  From two-nighters to around the world voyages from your doorstep the world really is your oyster.

Sail out to see the Northern Lights, cruise around the Mediterranean or sail to the Baltics all from your closest UK port.  There are so many options open to you.

You Ask And You Will Get

Last year Royal Caribbean’s new ship Harmony of The Seas made its debut in Southampton.  Non cruisers visited the port to take photos of this amazing vessel.

It IS possible to experience something new and fantastic without thinking about having to fly out to have this kind of experience.  You can have the experience close to home too.

No Hassle No Fuss

All holidays should start from the moment you start your journey from home.

On a fly cruise your holiday starts at the airport and can often start with the stress of queuing and delays and to be honest who wants that hassle?

Enjoy a short hop to your local port, check in and sit back and relax until you board the ship then head to the buffet for a bite to eat or to a bar to enjoy the first drink of your holiday.

After reading this blog are you now thinking “this is what I want for my next cruise”?
