Summer 2020 With P&O Has Arrived..Including The New Ship Iona

It has finally arrived…Summer 2020 Launch with P&O Cruises.  After months of speculation I can now reveal further details on everything P&O have to offer for their Summer 2020 programme.

The biggest news of course is the launch of the new ship Iona.  For its maiden Season it will be sailng from Southampton to the Norwegian Fjords.

The Maiden Voyage will be on the 14th May 2020 and this will be a 9 night sailing including an evening call in Bergen.  Iona will continue to sail to the Norwegian Fjords every week up until the 19th September 2020.  I am sure these sailings will sell very well as people love the breathtaking scenery of the Fjords.

Here is a quick overview of what the other ships are doing in Summer 2020:

Oceana – she will continue with her 7 or 14 night fly cruise programme from Malta with new ports of call including Nafplio and Cephalonia Greece, Rijeka and Rovinj Croatia.  She will also be doing cruises around the Arabian Gulf.

Britannia – she will be doing a mixture of 7, 13 and 14 night cruises from Southampton to Southern, Western & Northern Europe, Atlantic Coast and Western Mediterranean with Malaga being a new port of call

Azura – she will be doing 12 or 14 night itineraries from Southampton to the Atlantic Coast, Western Mediterranean and the Baltic

Ventura – she will be sailing from Southampton on between 2 to 14 night itineraries including Atlantic Islands and Western and Southern Europe

Aurora – Sailing from Southampton she will be visiting Southern Europe, Atlantic Coast, Atlantic Islands, Central & Western Mediterranean, Baltic, Norwegian Fjords, Arctic Circle, Iceland and Canada and New England including new ports of call Kirkwall Orkney Islands, Grundafjordur Iceland, Saguenay & Sept Iles & Gaspe Canada

Arcadia – She will be setting sail from Southampton going to Atlantic Islands, Western & Central Mediterranean, Baltic, Northern Europe, Norwegian Fjords, British Isles, Canada & New England and Northern Lights with new ports of call Fuerteventura Canaries, Genoa Italy, Bornholm Denmark and Gythion Greece

Phew that is a lot to take in but I’m sure you agree there are some fantastic ports of call on all of the fleet.
