P&O Are Finally Joining The Drinks Party!

Hi Everyone.  I hope everyone survived January and kept to their New Year Resolutions.  I gave up the cigarettes last month and still going strong!

The latest news to come from P&O is they are finally releasing drinks packages across the fleet.  The big question is is this good or bad news?  Have a look at the details of the drinks packages and judge for yourself.

If you are on a P&O sailing of 5 nights or more you can avail yourself to four different drinks package options.  These will be available in all of the restaurants, bars and cafes.  It will start being available on Azura in March 2019 and then will be rolled out to the entire fleet.

The top package is the “Ultimate Drinks Package” which will include a large choice of beers, cocktails, spirits, liqueurs and wines by the glass, bottled water, juices, soft drinks on draught, Costa Coffee and other hot drinks.  The cost is £39.95 per person per day.  The restriction on this package is if you purchase any drink over £6.95 this is not included but you will receive a 20% discount on the drink.  You will also receive a 20% discount on other drinks that are not included in the package.

They are also offering a non-alcoholic drinks package which will be £19.95 per person per day.  This includes bottled water, soft drinks on draught, non-alcoholic cocktails, juices, Costa Coffee and other hot drinks.

If you are a big hot drink fan you can buy a package for £10.95 per person per day which gives you unlimited Costa Coffe, Teapigs Teas and Hot Chocolate.

If you are travelling with children you can buy the children’s drinks package for any child aged 16 or under for £7.95 per person per day.  This package is free for children who are travelling in the same cabin as adults who have bought the Ultimate Drinks Package.
