Looking Forward to a busy year

Happy New Year Everyone, I know we are two weeks in already but this is the first chance I have had to write my blog as the phones and emails have kept me so busy which is great. I am really enjoying getting to know all my new customers as well as a couple of past customers now finding me at Cruise.co.uk

2019 is looking exciting for me on a personal level. We have a family trip to the Lakes and Cornwall planned, I have a a mini cruise with my friends on MSC Prezioza in August and I’m excited that my husband and I are ticking off a destination on our Bucket List with a trip to Las Vegas in May for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and to celebrate 25 years together as a couple.

I dont know if its the Travel Agent in me but I am terrible for having to have a holiday to look forward to and sonot only do I have all the above planned but P&o’s new ship Iona is already booked for 2020! Its a trend I have seen growing in the last couple of years with Cruise Lines now selling nearly 2 years in advance the demand and benefits of booking in advance are becoming more and more popular. When taking details from my customers at the moment I can not assume when they ask for June its actually 2019 they are asking for.

With the trend to book in advance and the cruise lines offering great deals like free drinks packages or extra onboard spending money its  had an impact on Late holiday Bookings. More and more often ships have sold out months in advance of there departure dates leaving lots of disappointed customers.
