Three Queens Together

Friday the 9th May 2014 was an amazing day of the three queens for their 10th  anniversary.

To start off the celebrations hundreds of people congregated to watch the amazing 10 minute firework show followed by live bands and then all three ships sailed out to sea together at 10.00 pm all going to different destinations.

Queen Mary 2 is a purpose built transatlantic cruiser and in the past 10 years she has 419 voyages in total with more than 200 of those being transatlantic to New York.

It was originally planned that Cunard would release 10,000 balloons to mark the celebrations but the idea was scrapped only a few days before the celebrations after worry over local wildlife.

I wish every success and hope much enjoyment comes from visiting the ship on the day of celebration or in many years to come.

I wish I could have been there to see this special event.  I would like to see all comments and information on people which have been on the ship.
