Rhapsody of the Seas Part One

Well, I’m back off a brilliant week on the Rhapsody of the seas, we arrived in Venice on a Saturday morning and just my luck it was raining this didn’t stop us looking forward to getting on that ship. Check-in was really easy and quick and we finally got our key cards and was about to board her. I didn’t think we’d be able to go straight to our cabin as we couldn’t when I went on the Independence in May. So we headed to the bar to get a drink and have a look around.

My Partner Anthony was really impressed with the ship and so was Lillie-Rose we were sat up on the pool deck having a drink and just relaxing after a long journey travelling. After our drink, we decided to see if we could get in our cabin and we could to my surprise, it was the first time I’ve had an inside cabin as I’ve always been lucky enough to have a balcony cabin. the room was really nice and it really surprised me as I thought that if you had a 3-4 berth cabin then the beds had to be made up like bunk beds, but my  cabin Steward didn’t we had a double bed and I Pullman bed (which Lillie-Rose never slept in it as it was too high for her). so most of the time Anthony slept in it. here’s a picture of the cabin.

After we’d unpacked and got changed we went round to have a look at the ship and she was lovely better than what I expected her to be, all the staff were very friendly and of course, they always made a fuss of Lillie-Rose.  We ate in the buffet restaurant for the first night as Lillie-Rose was really tried and we thought we’d have an early night and be all fresh for the next morning.

Our first port of call was Kotor Montenegro it wasn’t somewhere that we’d fancied getting off so we decided to have a lovely relaxing day by the pool by that didn’t happen as it was really bad weather we had rain, Thundering and lighting, but we made the most of it, I even tried to get Lillie-Rose to go in the kids club for a couple of hours but she didn’t want to go and I wasn’t going to make her go. The kids club looks lovely and really good for your kids but the worst thing I would say about it is that when you take your kids up to go for the first time it would be good if the parent could go in with them for them  get them used to it but they don’t allow it (i can understand it in one sense but not good if your child is not very confident).
