Goa Holiday Part 2

Well I’m back from an amazing 3 weeks in goa and it has been truly amazing, I just love the place and I can’t wait to go back in a few years time.

We flew with Thomas cook direct from Manchester the flight was on time and very nice, once we arrived in Goa we took a taxi to Candolim this is just under an hours transfer so not too far after the long flight. we stayed opposite my mum and dads apartment which was really nice we had a one bedroom apartment with a  living area and kitchen the owners are really nice. The apartment for 3 weeks cost me £280 Total you really can’t go wrong with this price and they were of a very high standard lovely and clean and a 5 min walk to the main centre.

My little girl still can’t believe how many cows you see while your there, they will just come from nowhere there on the roads and the cars just have to try and not hit them, the roads over there are horrendous I hated crossing the roads never mind ever driving there, when you tried to cross the road most of the time you had to run for your lives its that bad.

The beach was only a 15 min walk so not too bad we used to walk down the side roads this was loads better as there wasn’t as much traffic, the sea most days was really calm Lillie-Rose and Ella my niece loved going in the sea until one day a lady said there was a Jellyfish in the sea my niece wouldn’t go back in after that and a few days later there were a few people that had said they’d been stunk with a jellyfish.  When we walked to the beach there was a house that had pigs and into our last week, they’d had piglets my little girl loved this.

Everything in Goa is really cheap, food drinks the only thing that is expensive is chocolate but who wants chocolate on holiday, the average price you pay for a Gin and tonic is £1.25 a big bottle of beer would cost you a £1.00. Food is the best thing as you can have different meals on an evening and you wouldn’t pay more than £5.00 and this would be a starter,  a few mains and dessert you really can’t go wrong.

All in all, it was a fantastic holiday and I’m really upset that I’m back and i will miss my mum and dad loads but I’ll be going back soon, if you haven’t been to Goa you really need to try it its an amazing place and you will love it.
