Want to sail around the world in 2016?

P&O launch their world cruise programme this week for departures in 2016.

Baltic, Ligurian and Caribbean peninsular members can book from 8am on Tuesday 9 September and everyone else at 8am on Wednesday 10 September.

P&O have 2 ships sailing the world..

Arcadia – 115 nights with the big focus on South America and Japan.

This itinerary does look amazing!

My highlights would be…

South America where you will experience the best of this continent. Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Port Stanley in Falkland Islands, scenic cruising Cape Horn and Magellan straits.

The beauty of the south Pacific and cruise by Easter Island before arriving in New Zealand where you can experience the set of the Hobbit.

Australia’s east coast can be enjoyed in full with an overnight stay in the port of Sydney before exploring the Great Barrier Reef.

It’s off to Asia next; Hong Kong, Beijing – China, Japan and much more! Overnight in Beijing where you can take full advantage of the tours to the great wall.

Hawaii at its best! Visit Pearl harbour in Honolulu before sailing to San Francisco for an overnight stay and finally transit the Panama Canal before sailing back to Southampton.

Aurora – 114 nights Complete World cruise.

Sail right the way round the world on this epic journey of adventure!

There are so many highlights to mention! Here are a few…

The amazing Panama Canal. Experience the wonder of this man-made creation! Spend 2 days in the colourful city of San Francisco before crossing the Pacific to arrive in the beautiful New Zealand. Sail through the spectacular Fjords. I don’t think word can describe the beauty!

Australia’s east coast and Darwin in the Northern Territory.

Asia in its glory! Some of my favourite cities and Island to explore include Singapore, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City (on my list of places to see!)

Next stop is very exciting and somewhere I have always wanted to go to. The Indian Ocean. Some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Seychelles, Mauritius and Reunion Island. I would love to see your photos!

Finally South Africa. Table Mountain in Cape Town and I would recommend a safari because you have 2 days to experience this wonderful city!

114/5 nights too much for you? P&O offer shorter sectors! You can also combine your cruise with a stay or even just extend if you have friends and family to visit. There are so many options to choose from to match your needs.

P&O also have another special cruise which goes on sale at the same time!

Caribbean and American Adventure on board the wonderful Oriana.

This is a 50 night cruise sailing out of Southampton on 6 January 2016

Celebrating the very best of the Caribbean and also Columbia, Costa Rica, Bermuda, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico! Wow! I have a feeling this cruise is going to be very popular.

P&O have decided not to split this cruise up into sectors. I think this is an excellent move and how would you choose the sector? Why fly when you can experience the whole of the Caribbean in this amazing trip and let’s face it if you want a shorter Caribbean cruise there are lots to choose from.

St Lucia
