Towels on sunbeds on a luxury cruise ?

I like to keep in touch with my customers when they come back from their cruise and find out how they got on.

It provides me with valuable feedback to pass on to any future customers.

Recently though one of the main comments I have received is the daily fight for a sunbed.

We all know we are faced with this problem when we go on package holidays and as annoying as it is we seem to accept this as normal

But has this really spilled over on to luxury cruise lines ?

It would appear so and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be much they can do about it.

It is always worse on the sea days because everyone is on board and wanting to relax around the pool but it seems to also be a problem when in port.

I am told people are actually leaving towels on sunbeds while they go ashore for the day and only returning late afternoon to pick up their belongings.

I wonder if it is becoming normal on all cruise lines now or if us Brits are the worst culprits ?

From my own experience I find the smaller ships can be less crowded on deck. The larger ships that carry thousands of passengers are more restricted for open deck space so it can be more difficult to find a sun lounger.

What do you think have you had a similar experience ?
