Will my cruise be affected by Brexit

I think no matter how people voted, most of us have now had enough about hearing of Brexit, especially with news people and politicians bickering and arguing over it.

People however I am sure do have some valid concerns with regards to travel arrangements so I thought I would share what has been stated.

If there is a no deal Brexit cruise operations will continue as they are today. Passengers who embark on a cruise at a UK port will continue to be protected by the EU regulation on maritime passengers’ rights, which will be brought into UK law.

If you have booked a fly-cruise then the situation is a little different. If a Brexit deal is made then there will be a transition period where all flights will operate as they do now until December 2020. If there is a no deal Brexit then the EU has already stated that airlines will still fly between the UK and EU under a reciprocal agreement.

The situation of course is at the moment no-one knows exactly what is going to happen, not even our government but be rest assured that there there isn’t reason to worry about your holiday bookings.

There may be some changes post-Brexit to some exchange rates and things like that but I really can’t imagine too much doom and gloom. The world will keep turning and we will continue to book people on amazing cruise holdays.
