New Dynamic dining option on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class ships

Royal Caribbean was quiet for a time about the dining on their new Quantum class of ships which will include the new Anthem of the Seas which will be based from Southampton in 2015.

I now have some information on their new dining policy on these ships which is referred to as “dynamic dining”.


Rather than having a set early and late dining as well as a flexi option, this new dynamic dining option will let everyone go where they want, when they want.

If you are familiar with Norwegian cruise line you will know that this the same sort of way in which they operate and this has worked out successfully for them.

The information I have on each restaurant is some what limited but here is what I do have.

Included Restaurants

American Icon Grill
New Orleans style food.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
Dress code is smart-casual.

Chic
Mainly meat and fish dishes.
Dinner will be served.
Dress code is smart-casual.

Silk
Pan Asian flavours
Dinner will be served.
Dress code is smart-casual.

Grande
Formal traditional dining.
Dinner will be served.
Dress code is formal.

Coastal Kitchen – for suite guests only.
A fuse of Mediterranean influences with the unmatched riches of California’s plentiful farmlands.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
Dress code is formal.

Supplementary Restaurants

Wonderland
This place is modern, imaginative and a bit “off the wall”
Dinner will be served.
Dress code is smart-casual.

Jamies Italian
Italian restaurant.
Lunch and dinner will be served.
Dress code is smart-casual.

Michaels Genuine Pub
American gastro pub.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
Dress code is casual.

Plus there will also be established favourites such as Chops Grille, Chefs table, Johnny Rockets and the Windjammer buffet.
