Is this your ‘Perfect day’?

There was a big announcement last week by Royal Caribbean.  Not only are they planning a $200 million transformation of their private-island CocoCay, but they also have plans for other destinations in Asia, Australia and the Caribbean!  These will be announced later in the year. The exciting news for me is what these transformations consisted of.  They concept is based around a vision of a ‘Perfect Day’.  The pictures based on this vision look amazing.  Just look for yourself:

Royal Caribbean’s Private Island Destination Programme About To Blow Your Mind

It is very difficult to say what the Perfect day is, as what may be for one person will be different from another person’s perfect day.  So, what are Royal Caribbean offering with their newly developed destinations?

  • A water park area for thrill seekers including the tallest waterslide in North America and the biggest wave pool in the Caribbean.
  • A fun, pirate themed area with 30 interactive water cannons for young ones.
  • A Splash Park
  • A zip-line- Taking you 1,00 feet across CocoCay!
  • A wave-pool

So that’s the kids (and big kids) happy… and now for the adults:

Coco Cay will be offering:

  • Coco Beach club with cabanas and an infinity pool
  • Cool bars
  • Helium Balloon rides
  • Oasis lagoon – The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. With a swim up bar!

If these develops look anything like the plans I think they will be amazing and even create more business from people wanting to experience the island, so will book a cruise especially for this.  Some feedback has been very excited, especially from families who love the action and relaxation all in one place!  Others feel this may have an impact on the relaxing and beautiful scenery already on the private-island CocoCay.  What do you think?

Give me a call if you would like to look into cruises which would include CocoCay or any other cruises on 03333002638.
