When is the best time to cruise

Greetings cruisers

Hope you are all well and are booking those cruises, seems very busy the last couple of weeks, I was looking at booking one last week and was almost ready to press the confirm button and just thought “let me just check what the weather is going to be like” I am really glad I did the weather and temp averages for the area I was looking at cruising just was not appropriate, for me it was ok, but for the person I was going to cruise with would of been way too hot for them and they would have really struggled with the high temperatures. Most people would not even think about something like this, and find out the hard way. It is amazing how many people say to me “Had a great cruise but would not go again at the same time of the year” So it is always important to do your home work when deciding where to cruise, Alaska is another destination that can be very different throughout the season.

One of the first questions you’ll ask yourself when you’re planning a cruise holiday is, “Where do I want to go and when can I go there?” The answer to these questions can be trickier than you think, given that cruise ships only visit some destinations during certain seasons of the year. So here is a quick guide to point you in the right direction.

Remember weather can always be changeable and in this day and age expect the unexpected. However a little bit of knowledge can always be good thing, I myself have found out the hard way too !!!

Click on the link below to help you make the right decision, too be fair most cruise lines will only deploy their ships at the best times for a particular location.
