Looking for a holiday is always a time full of inspiration and research, especially if its a cruise!

Sailing’s an entirely different experience, from discovering exciting itineraries to choosing the perfect cabin to stay in. There’s lots of detail that goes into creating your dream cruise, which makes speaking to someone in the know even more important. As a Cruise Specialist I am here to help book your cruise, give some fantastic recommendations and answer any questions you might have. I thought I would take the time to answer a few questions that often gets asked about how to go about booking, why choose an agent like me over online etc, I hope this helps you when deciding about your next trip.

What can you expect from booking with over the phone compared to online?
Expect a personal service where I make sure you booking the right cruise for you. There are so many different ships, places to visit and great offers to choose from, so I want to understand what’s going to make your holiday special. Also give you all the advice and information you’ll need, such as dining experiences,  excursions and visa requirements.

Why is it important to think about booking with an agent if you’re a cruise customer?
All the pressure can be taken away: we’ve got a wealth of experience and love to share our memories to help make your decision easy. When booking a cruise, there are so many
things to think about, and as the travel experts, we can give you advice you on every aspect of your trip.

What do you recommend for those thinking of booking a cruise with you?
It is always great if you have an idea where you’d like to visit and see if you’d like to add an overnight stay on to the beginning or the end of your holiday. Once I know what
you’d most like to see and do, I can work this into helping you make the best decision for your cruise. If you are unsure of or are open to suggestions that’s fine too there is so much to choose from.

What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to know my customers and helping them create their dream holiday. I love keeping in touch with them throughout the journey to ensure we’ve got everything sorted. And I especially love picking up with them when they’re back to hear all about their holiday!

What’s your most special memory of booking a holiday for someone?
I have lucky enough to book some customers who actually had their wedding onboard a cruise ship. Originally it was just them and their close family but we managed to get them a brilliant deal so other friends and family were able to enjoy their special holiday and day with them too. They were very excited about going away, and after getting to know them personally, I couldn’t wait for them to enjoy their day onboard the cruise we had picked together. As soon as they were back, they shared their holiday memories with me. I felt so happy to have been part of their celebration and have built up a great relationship with them.
